As we retire, we lose some of the social contact we enjoyed in our working life. We can also face a reduction in activity. We know that it is important for our long-term health and well-being to remain active in mind and body. Our club offers many ways to help

Our History

We began as an ‘Early Planning for Retirement’ club, to help men and women prepare for one of the biggest changes in their life. We later changed our focus to post-retirement activities and in 1974 became Life Activities Club Whitehorse.

Our Club is keen to grow both in Membership and Variety to Cater for the Changing needs of a more diverse Community enabling it to Match Activities available to the Changing Tastes and Interests of the Evolving Community.

Whitehorse Activities Club thanks its Patron, Mayor Cr. Sharon Ellis and the City of Whitehorse for the generous assistance the Council provides to us to facilitate news dissemination to our members and to obtain needed equipment for our activity groups.
